for a birthday

I made Aparna Bingo, a bingo game for my friend's birthday. The pieces are all in-jokes and things that she says all the time. If she didn't know we were playing, everyone would've gotten bingo right away.

It would be fun to have animations play when you get bingo. I'd like an exposed page so friends could add more possibilities to the board before we decide to play.

I also thought about saving user profile information so that everyone's board updated if Aparna said something. The group decided against it, that players should listen and update their own boards. Goes to show how important user testing in games. Just because a feature is possible doesn't mean that it is fun. As a developer, I want to automate away tasks. But when playing a game, doing tasks is the point.
