It feels like I'm holding two mirrors up to each other, writing about this website from inside this website. But we'll roll with it.

My intention with this site was to have a place that I could document my work, without forcing myself to fit into presciptive forms of professionalism and focus. I wanted to be able to post about anything I was making, which includes fun websites, crafty handmade goods, and random explorations. This site was at one point meant to be a portfolio, and parts of that set up are still evident in some places. It's a work in progress.

The page is built in svelte.

The files are stored on the same server in a different folder, outside of the svelte project. I have an nginx entry that points to that folder, so my images are loaded via URL. I find this much easier to manage than keeping it all within the same build. I can also easily reference these photos in another project, if I ever want to.
